The story of Turgon is among the best `category fantasy´ audiobooks I have listened to in my lifetime, and I know LOTR, Warhammer, and Dungeons & Dragons novels. 

Such massacres of civilians are among the reasons I waste less money on media. It happens anyway, the help myth is always insufficient in factual reality, and overpaid shits get an extra money-ripoff for free. 

Young adult me would have quite a butthurt look on the face in such situations. Luckily, faction changes also taught me wiser ways.   😎

While still better than being helpless, the danger of getting stuck in the compensation routine instead of resolving the problem is noteworthy. Never hurts to get better than the old ways...   😉
